Welcome
My ROAD title

Risk. Opportunity. Autonomy. Dignity.

Click below to learn about the My ROAD project and explore our resources to support dignity of risk in healthcare, college, and supported employment settings.

My ROAD explores how to advance dignity of risk for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the lifespan. Dignity of risk means everyone has the right to make their own choices, even when those choices involve taking risks. It recognizes that trying new things, making mistakes, and learning along the way are essential parts of being human.
